Wow! It’s August. Fucked up, right?
About a week ago I learned about Blaugust– one of those daily-ish writing challenges for people with their own blogs, self-run or not. While I need another project like I need a hole in the head, it did remind me of when I was taking fun asks through Cohost and just yap yap yapping away. I had set up a challenge for myself where I would do an hour of writing each day- I ran out of asks, but I did make a bunch of draft posts that I never got around to completing. (Don’t worry, nothing of great value was lost there.)
I do continually end up saying ‘blaw-goost’ like a bad IKEA commercial though.
An Introduction Real Quick for People Coming from Blaugust Spaces
Hi! I’m Nero. I draw gay porno comics! I’ve been doing so for something like 15 years now and have drawn around 2k pages, because I am some kind of freak. I really love talking about comics, BL/yaoi, crafts, union organizing, fermenting, cooking, fish keeping, kink, all kinds of stuff.
Usually when I post on this blog it’s an illustration, con announcement, or newsletter. Like most people, I’ve been wanting to use it more, and this is my excuse.
What am I Going to Talk About Oh God
I don’t have a list of prompts or anything super organized. It’ll be one hour’s worth of whatever is in the old noggin! Which could be any number of the things I listed above. Or something new! That’s for me to know and for you to find out. I may start ones on one day and finish it on another if I complete another post early.
