About a year ago, I was in the anthology Bear Company– an SFW anthology featuring stories about bears (not the animal!) going about their lives. Since the contract on that is up, I can now post my story for free on the ol’ blog. Whoo!
Poorcraft cookbook is coming along… well.
About a year back I completed my comic for the Tabula Idem anthology– a queer comics anthology structured around the Major Arcana of the tarot. Each author submitted both a comic and a tarot card for a deck that came with the anthology (for Kickstarter backers and some lucky convention-goers).
This was actually the second time I’d worked on a tarot anthology and gotten The Lovers card- the co-editor, Iris Jay, also ran a goofier zine focused around the tarot a little while back. Glad to have the chance to tackle this in a more serious light. :B (Though now that it’s been a year, I can see all the faults in my art… Ah, anthologies.)
The full comic and the card illustration are below the cut.
Some test pages from a pitch I was brought on for early last year- if I remember correctly, this was a gay interpretation of The Tale of the Heike? Unfortunately it didn’t really go anywhere.
trying out pencilling the next round of Golden Trick pages in Clip Studio Paint! kind of too early to decide one way or another, unfortunately.
I drew a comic for the Alphabet anthology about two years ago- the contract has since expired, so I’ve archived it here for future reference/reading. It’s regarding the increasing overlap between the adult comics industry and animal people art. If that’s your jam, read on! (Not safe for work.)
